In recent times, stories of brave and loyal dogs coming to the rescue of humans have captured the world's attention and warmed our hearts. From dogs saving abandoned newborn babies to their extraordinary acts of courage, these canine heroes are showing the world the depths of their loyalty and compassion. One remarkable story comes from the slums of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where a stray dog became an unexpected hero. While scouring for food in a trash can, this vigilant dog stumbled upon a newborn baby, still clinging to its umbilical cord and miraculously alive. Without a second thought, the dog scooped up the fragile infant and embarked on a mission to find help. The sight of this dog gently cradling a newborn, determined to find assistance, has left many deeply moved. Fortunately, the dog's determination led it to a local clinic where the baby could receive immediate care. It's worth noting that this premature baby, born at just six months, owes its life to the quick actions of this heroic dog. Following the rescue, the infant was transported to a hospital in Sao Paulo and placed in an incubator, where she has been making progress. This heartrending image raises a myriad of emotions. It inspires sadness for the abandoned child and a deep sense of appreciation for the dog's extraordinary act of compassion. It also prompts reflection on the tragic circumstances that led to the abandonment of a newborn. It reminds us of the importance of compassion and care for the most vulnerable among us. This heartwarming incident isn't an isolated case of canine heroism. In Muang district, Chon Buri province, Thailand, another stray dog came to the rescue of an infant in distress. A witness, Noi Phongsakorn, described how he initially believed two stray dogs were fighting over a discarded toy near a trash can. However, when cries were heard, it became apparent that they were fighting over something far more precious—a baby girl weighing a mere 2 kilograms. One of the dogs, affectionately known as Nom Sod, rushed in and, in an act that can only be described as heroic, carried the baby to safety on a patch of grass roughly 10 meters away. Thanks to this dog's intervention, the child was swiftly transported to the emergency hospital, where she received the care she desperately needed. In yet another astonishing case of dog heroism, a dog named Elly proved to be a lifesaver. Elly gently cradled a newborn baby with the umbilical cord still attached and carried it to the doorstep of a nearby house. The dog barked incessantly to attract attention, alerting the homeowner to the abandoned infant's presence. Thanks to Elly's quick thinking, the baby was rushed to the emergency room, where doctors confirmed the child was in stable condition. These stories of heroic dogs remind us of the incredible bond between humans and animals. They show that these remarkable creatures can be more than just pets; they can become our protectors, our guardians, and our saviors. In a world that can often feel cold and indifferent, these acts of compassion by our canine companions warm our hearts and inspire us to be more compassionate toward one another. They remind us that heroes can come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes, they have four legs and a wagging tail.

He was dumped beside the road, very weak unable to stand desperate waiting for help

We found a poor puppy lying aside of the road like broken toy. It looks like he is dying, he is in horrible shape. Just horrible, there is no words to describe this. He is so dehydrated that his skin does not stretch anymore, he is missing most of the hair.. His skin is dry and cracked and infected, he is like skeleton with skin stretched on it.

It is hard to find place to put the needle to get the fluids in him. The smell oozing from his infected skin is something I cannot describe. I have no words for this anymore. If we can make the thing what looks at the moment impossible.. but his wonderful family will take good care of him and support his recovery.

Just pray for him. He was too weak to sit or stand or lift his head, he was just laying there motionless, not reacting to anything. Just before leaving to vet clinic, his skin was so itchy he tried constantly bite and lick it to ease the itchiness. At the Vet, Harika was also tested positive for Distemper.

Again Harika proved to be a fighter and he kept on getting better day by day.. Our brave little puppy Harika was up a small moment and he ate recovery food. he also peed so I am actually carefully optimistic that he might pull this through. At least we try, very very hard, it will be another long night for both of us Day 3: Little Harika today enjoying some sunlight at the yard of vet clinic.
