As we hurried to the scene, we steeled ourselves for what might await us, fully aware of the potential horrors, yet nothing could have readied us for the heart-wrenching sight that awaited.
In the midst of the chaos, we discovered the dog in a desperate state, darting anxiously through the traffic. A cruel wire had cruelly encircled his neck, cutting deep into the muscle, causing excruciating pain and bewilderment. Witnessing this pitiable creature in such agony was a truly heart-wrenching experience.
Swift action was imperative to save his life. The risk of him fleeing and succumbing to his grievous injuries was too great. With utmost care, we employed a net to secure him, the sole means to safely transport him back to the haven of Animal Aid.
